Terms of service

These terms govern your use of imrare.in and every purchase you make from I'm Rare, a brand of Quantic Cloud Technologies Pvt. Ltd.. By browsing the site, messaging us, or confirming an order you agree to them. They are written to be read; if anything is unclear, ask us before you order.

01Who we are

I'm Rare is operated by Quantic Cloud Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (CIN U72200MP2019PTC049234, GSTIN 23AAACQ6253C1ZV), registered at First Floor, Plot No. 152, PU-4, AB Road, Behind C21 Mall, Scheme 54 PU4, Indore, Madhya Pradesh 452010, India. “We”, “us” and “I'm Rare” in these terms mean that company.

02Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract under Indian law to place an order. If you are ordering on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to do so.

We currently sell and deliver within India only. If you access the site from outside India you do so on your own initiative, and we cannot accept orders for delivery abroad.

03How orders work

There is no online checkout. The site is a catalogue; orders are confirmed in conversation with a design expert, usually over WhatsApp. A conversation becomes a binding order only when all three of the following have happened:

  1. we have sent you a written quotation (in the chat or by email) listing the pieces, dimensions, finishes, price, delivery estimate and payment schedule;
  2. you have confirmed it in writing; and
  3. we have received the advance payment set out in the quotation.

Until then nothing is reserved and prices, lead times and availability may change. Our order-confirmation message is your proof of purchase; keep it.

04Prices and payment

Prices are quoted in Indian Rupees and, unless the quotation says otherwise, include GST and delivery to the ground floor or the nearest point a vehicle can reach. They exclude civil, electrical or wall-mounting work, and any building charges (lift booking, entry passes, parking).

  • Ready-to-ship pieces - 100% of the price on confirmation. ⚠
  • Made-to-measure and customised pieces - 50% advance on confirmation to begin production, balance before dispatch. ⚠
  • Payment is by bank transfer (NEFT/RTGS/IMPS), UPI, or a secure payment link we send you. We never ask for card details in chat.

We may correct an obvious pricing error before the order is confirmed. Quotations are valid for 14 days unless stated otherwise.

05Made-to-measure and customised pieces

When you ask us to change a dimension, timber, finish or upholstery, we build that piece for you alone. You are responsible for checking the confirmed dimensions against your room, doorways, stairwells and lift before you approve the quotation; we are happy to help you measure.

Once production has begun, customised pieces cannot be cancelled and the advance is not refundable. Changes requested after confirmation may carry extra cost and extend the lead time; we will tell you before proceeding.

06Natural materials and variance

We work in solid timber, hand-woven cane, natural stone and textile. Grain, figure, knots, colour and cane weave differ from piece to piece and from the renders on this site; stone may carry veining and small fissures. These are characteristics of the material, not defects.

  • Overall dimensions may vary by up to ±2 cm from the quoted figure.
  • Fabric pattern alignment may vary by up to 3%.
  • Timber colour changes with light and age - walnut lightens, teak deepens.
  • Screen renders are indicative; monitors differ.

07Warranty

Every piece carries a 10-year structural warranty on the timber frame and joinery, and a 1-year warranty on finishes, hardware, cane and upholstery, from the date of delivery. ⚠

The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal domestic use. It does not cover: normal wear; scratches, dents, stains, burns or water marks; fading from sunlight; damage from misuse, overloading, pets, incorrect cleaning or unapproved modification; damage during a move we did not carry out; or pieces used in commercial settings unless we agreed that use in writing.

To claim, send your order reference and photographs to us on WhatsApp or email. We will repair, replace the part, or replace the piece - at our choice. The warranty is personal to the original purchaser and address. Full terms are on the warranty page.

08Designs and content

The furniture designs, product names, renders, photographs, text and the I'm Rare wordmark are owned by or licensed to Quantic Cloud Technologies Pvt. Ltd.. You may not copy, reproduce or use them commercially, or have our designs manufactured elsewhere, without written permission.

09Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law, including under the Consumer Protection Act 2019. Subject to that, our total liability for any order is limited to the price you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss - for example, the cost of a delayed housewarming or of alternative furniture.

The site is provided as is. We try to keep it accurate and available but do not guarantee either.

10Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If something goes wrong, tell us first - most issues are resolved in a conversation. Any dispute that cannot be resolved that way is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Indore, Madhya Pradesh.

11Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you confirm an order applies to that order. The effective date at the top of this page tells you when it last changed.

Premium and luxury furniture, designed and made in India by I'm Rare

I'm Rare makes premium furniture for people who furnish slowly and keep things for a long time. Every piece - 11 categories, 56 designs at last count - is drawn in our studio and built in solid walnut, teak and oak, with hand-woven cane fronts, bouclé and linen upholstery, and solid brass fittings polished to a satin finish. The collection is curated rather than catalogued: a few resolved designs per category, each rendered true to its finish, most of them ready to ship.

Whether you are furnishing a new home, refreshing a single room, or specifying for a boutique hotel, office or café, the pieces are designed to sit together - the same timber, the same joinery language, the same quiet proportions - so a bed, a bedside table and a wardrobe from I'm Rare read as one room, not three purchases.

Furniture for every room in the house

Each category page shows every design with multiple views, and every design links straight to a design expert on WhatsApp who can confirm dimensions, finish options and the current lead time.

Bedroom: beds, wardrobes, bedside and dressing tables

The bedroom range is where the collection began. Our beds (5 designs) are platform and panel beds in solid walnut and teak - the Arohi with its low, wrapped headboard, the Ira and Vanya with upholstered panels, the Aarav in a deeper, more architectural form. Pair them with bedside tables (5 designs) in oak and walnut, sized to sit flush with the mattress line, and wardrobes (5 designs) with fluted and arched fronts in soft, lacquered tones.

Dressing tables (5 designs) combine a drawer stack, a floating shelf and a framed mirror with integrated storage for the things that otherwise end up on the surface. For children's rooms and guest rooms our bunk beds (5 designs) are built-in style pieces with stairs, drawers and cane screens, engineered to be dismantled and reassembled without losing rigidity.

Living: chairs, swings, consoles and TV units

Living chairs (6 designs) are sculptural, solid-wood frames with deep, loose cushions - the kind of chair a room is arranged around. Swings (5 designs) bring the Indian verandah indoors: round and rectangular cane-and-timber daybeds on rope or chain, sized for one or two. Consoles (5 designs) with cane doors and tapered legs suit hallways and behind-sofa positions, and our TV units (5 designs) keep cables, consoles and remotes behind fluted fronts so the wall stays calm.

Dining tables and entryway storage

The dining range (5 designs) pairs sculpted timber pedestals with marble and solid-wood tops and matching chairs, in four-, six- and eight-seat lengths. At the front door, shoe storage (5 designs) is treated as furniture rather than a cupboard - cane-fronted cabinets with a bench, a mirror or an arched panel to hang a coat.

Ready to ship, or made to your measure

Most designs are held in small batches and leave the workshop within a fortnight. If a piece needs to be wider, shorter, in a different timber or a different cloth, one message on WhatsApp reaches a design expert who will confirm what is possible, the price difference and the revised lead time - typically four to six weeks for made-to-measure work. We deliver across India with white-glove installation by our own team, and every piece carries a ten-year structural warranty.

Materials and craft

  • Walnut - deep, figured, our signature timber for beds, chairs and consoles.
  • Teak - dense and golden, used where pieces may see humidity or sun.
  • Oak - pale and straight-grained, for bedside tables and lighter rooms.
  • Cane - hand-woven rattan, set into solid frames so it never sags.
  • Brass - solid, never plated; handles, feet and hinges age to a soft patina.

All timber is kiln-dried and finished in a hard-wax oil that can be repaired at home with a cloth. Upholstery is bouclé, linen or performance velvet on high-resilience foam.

Because the collection is small on purpose. We would rather make eleven categories well than four hundred products quickly.
